PENN Trust’s “Manathil Urudhi Vendum 2.0” Campaign
Empowering Students in North Chennai.
PENN Trust is pleased to announce the successful completion of our Chennai Port Trust-funded CSR project, the “Manathil Urudhi Vendum 2.0” Campaign. This impactful initiative focused on empowering students in North Chennai by addressing crucial aspects of mental well-being and career development.
Campaign Focus:
1. Psychological Strength for Academic success and overcoming Exam stress
2. Mental Resilience – to overcome challenges and prevention of suicidal tendencies
3. Career Guidance – tips to choose the right path
Key Milestones:
* Beneficiaries: 4,133 higher secondary students from Corporation and Government-aided schools in North Chennai, representing needy and underprivileged sections of the community.
* Content Development: Internally developed, student-centric content, with a customized framework designed by qualified psychologists, Dr. Swathi and Dr. Monica. This ensured the workshops were tailored to the specific needs of the students.
* Implementation Period: The workshops were conducted from November 2024 to February 2025.
* Auditing: The campaign’s implementation and impact were audited by officials from Chennai Port Trust and the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), ensuring transparency and accountability.
